I am an assistant professor of Economics at Universidad de Piura – Lima (Perú). My research interests lie primarily in the fields of organizational and managerial economics, development and experimental economics. My research focuses on understanding the role of managerial practices as a key driver of productivity gains, e.g. firing policies, allocation of heterogeneous inputs across workers, allocation of decision rights and contract design. Also, I want to understand the differences in efficiency those managerial practices may have in developing and developed countries. I received my Ph.D. in 2015 from the Department of Economics, Finance and Management at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona (Spain).
